From our rentals, you can make out the Île de Batz just across the water. The crossing takes only a quarter of an hour and the change of scene is immediate. It is our guests' favourite day trip.
The crossing
The boats leave from the old harbour of Roscoff. At low tide, boarding takes place at the end of the long footbridge that stretches out into the sea, a walk in itself. Remember to check the timetable for the season, or let us take care of it.
On the island, on foot or by bike
The island is small and easy to explore in a day. The coastal path goes all the way round, between coves, farmed fields and white sandy beaches.
Two stops not to miss: the lighthouse, with its view over the whole island, and the Georges Delaselle garden, an oasis of exotic plants at the eastern tip.
Our tips
Take a windproof jacket, even in summer, and your swimming things. For lunch, it is best to book in season. We can plan your day from start to finish: crossing, bikes, table and picnic.
